Rep. Aaron Schock (R-IL) appeared on MSNBC‘s, “Hardball” with Chris Matthews.  Chris asked the congressman how many bridges in his district were structurally unsound. SCHOCK HAD NO ANSWER and resorted to spouting Republican rhetoric to cover his embarrassment. THE ANSWER IS 277!!! SHAME! SHAME! WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE ALLOW REPUBLICANS TO CRITICIZE DEMOCRATIC IDEAS WHEN THEY HAVE NO CONCRETE IDEAS OF THEIR OWN? I SAY, PASS THE JOBS BILL NOW! LACK OF PAYCHECKS TRUMP IDEOLOGY, REP. SCHOCK!

Truth Wins Out Slams Herman Cain For Calling Homosexuality a “Choice”

Cain Panders to Extremists with Ignorance and Misinformation about Sexual Orientation, Says TWO

BURLINGTON, Vt - Truth Wins Out slammed GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain today for making anti-gay statements on ABC’s The View. Cain confirmed to View co-host Joy Behar that as president, he would roll back the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” and that he believes homosexuality to be a choice. Said Cain to Behar: “You show me the science that says that it’s not [a choice], and I could be persuaded. Right now it’s my opinion against the opinion of others who feel differently. That’s just a difference of opinion.”

“Herman Cain ought to apologize for his misinformed remarks, which show that he harbors dangerously outdated beliefs about gay and lesbian Americans,” said Wayne Besen, Executive Director of Truth Wins Out. “The lie that homosexuality is a choice is directly responsible for the suffering of tens of thousands of LGBT people around the world who are falsely told that they can ‘pray away the gay.’”

I only “know of” FoxNews and occasionally I see one of their stars, Bill O’Reilly, when he appears on other cable channels. I do know the perception of FoxNews and its unchecked role in American politics. I was surprised when I came across this short video in which Bill O’Reilly heaps praises on President Obama and sounds genuine:

Some time ago, I came across this amusing animation which features the same, Bill O’Reilly.  It is not political, per se, but, pokes fun at the celebrated interviewer. I don’t find it sacrilegious. :)
