Police Oust Occupy Wall Street from Zuccotti Park, NYC

NYC Mayor Bloomberg had said that the demonstrators could stay indefinitely in Zuccotti Park.  However, around 2:00am, the NYC Police began clearing the park.  The appropriated tents, books and personal belongings.  Police told the demonstrators that they will be allowed to return…without tents, generators, etc.  There will be no more living in the park.  Zuccotti Park (which is privately owned) will be a site for demonstrations only. As of this post  I heard a report that the demonstrators are streaming back into the park.  Mayor Bloomberg says, “Now the protesters will have to occupy the park with their arguments…protesters are welcomed back into the park.”  Owners of the park agree with the Mayor.
