I am so tired of hearing the Republicans repeat the lie that Democrats were ever in control of the 112th Congress. The latest liar to speak this lie is newly announced VP candidate, Paul Ryan. Through relentless and masterful usage of the filibuster, Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Minority Leader, has cut Senate Majority Leader, Senator Harry Reid off at the knees. Democrats were foolish (IMHO) not to kill use of the filibuster in the rules of the current Congress. —GoodOleWoody
