The Supreme Court was at it again. This time they struck down a Montana Law limiting corporate spending on political campaigns. This 100 year law was an effective tool in keeping corruption out the state’s election process.
What the High Courts ruling does is that it further diminishes my right to freedom of speech. There is no way that my voice can be heard when millions of $$ are being spent by the likes of Karl Rove’s Super PAC, Crossroads GPS.
I think that our nation’s highest court has become more of a political body than a judicial body under the leadership of Chief Justice Roberts. And I really think it interesting that none of the majority was willing to sign the opinion.
Keep coming back!!
