NEWT GINGRICH IS THAT GROUCHY OLD! PROFESSOR WHO SOUNDS SMART…BUT HIS SUN HAS SET!
(Later Rick remembered his answer, “energy.”)
Did you watch last night’s debate? When questioned by the host about the allegations of sexual harassment against him, the audience booed the question? I am troubled. Is Oakland College a republican school that finds nothing wrong with alleged ‘reaching under a woman’s skirt’ to assault or batter her? Is this the results of the new parenting? Were these student high? (Perhaps on life?)
In case you missed Cain’s press conference, here’s a video excerpt, and marvel at Herman Cain’s temerity:
During last night’s debate, Herman Cain imagined himself a comic and called former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, “Princess Nancy.” Herman, my friend, at least Mrs. Pelosi can string sentences together and form cogent arguments! Watch the video, Herman…and talk to the hand.🙂
Senate rejects bid to overturn net-neutrality rules
By Brendan Sasso
The Senate rejected a bid to repeal the Federal Communications Commission’s net neutrality rules on Thursday.
The measure passed the House in April, but failed in the Senate on a vote of 52 to 46. It needed 51 votes to pass and was not subject to a filibuster.
President Obama had promised to veto the measure if it had cleared the Senate.
The FCC’s net-neutrality regulations prevent Internet service providers from slowing down or speeding up access to websites. Wireless carriers are banned from blocking lawful websites or applications that compete with their services.
It’s a small issue, but, in the GOP debates Congressman Bachmann is constantly allowed to rag on President Obama instead of giving a specific answer to the question posed. Also, Newt Gingrich‘s arrogance is so superior that he insults debate hosts and the debate process showing the old mean Newt Gingrich. Who wants a mean President?
I wonder how much the American people got from last night’s debate with its 30 second responses. It was impossible to follow each solution to resolution in our minds. The result is to come off having to decide which candidate seemed like they knew what they were saying or giving a canned response. Rick Perry‘s gaffe, was a lost of memory from his preparation sessions that all the candidates have. Eight candidates debating is too much! I can’t waiting for a thinning out of the herd.
Tonight’s winner? Mitt Romney. Loser? Rick Perry.
