The Supreme Court won’t announce the outcome of Monday’s oral arguments for months, but the writing is already on the wall — or at least in the questions that the justices asked.

Again and again, the justices pressed the lawyers on whether the Anti-Injunction Act prohibits the court from weighing in on the individual mandate before it takes effect in 2014.
