In last night’s Republican Debate Barack Obama was called a “child.” I remember the days when white racists called all black men “boy.” Barack Obama is the first black man to win the U.S.  presidency.  He has done an excellent job as president. They’d be putting him on Mt. Rushmore were it not for Mitch McConnell, Joe Wilson and all the other white racists in Congress. White Republicans opposed our first black president at every turn. Obama could have done marvelous things with diversity and in making America a beautiful democracy. These thoughts come to me as we witness Donald J. Trump showing the world just how ugly an American can be when the veil of history is lifted.  —Woody
