Yesterday Ed Gillespie, new to the Mitt Romney campaign, went on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Surely he knows better, but, Gillespie used comments from two GOP leaders to leap to the negative characterization by the American people on whether the President’s mention of the Assassination of Osama bin Laden is inappropriate. It appears that Ed was too anxious to use the Karl Rove tactic of accusing Democrats as being divisive which is a strategy more characteristic of Republicans. Karl Rove teaches his Republican clients to take their weaknesses and try to marry them in the public’s mind with Democats…instead of their proper place.
